From June 15 to 19, the 14th European Conference on Non-Destructive Testing (ECNDT) was held in Verona, Italy. As Europe’s premier flagship conference in the field of non-destructive testing (NDT), this year’s ECNDT was hosted by the Italian Society for Non-Destructive Testing (AIPnD). The conference brought together more than 3,800 NDT experts, scholars, and industry representatives from 58 countries and regions, along with 358 exhibitors, to discuss the latest advances and innovative applications in non-destructive testing technologies.

Professor Huang Songling and Peng Lisha attended the conference as representatives of the Chinese Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ChSNDT). During the event, the ChSNDT and the Italian Society for Non-Destructive Testing (AIPnD), the conference organizer, exchanged commemorative gifts, symbolizing the friendship and cooperation between the two countries in the field of non-destructive testing and further strengthening exchanges and friendship between the two professional societies.

In addition, Huang Songling and Peng Lisha attended the Qualification and Certification Committee Meeting of the International Committee for Non-Destructive Testing (ICNDT) and the ICNDT General Assembly. At the General Assembly, they presented the Chinese Society for Non-Destructive Testing’s annual work report, showcasing to the international community China’s progress and achievements over the past year in domestic and international academic exchanges, personnel qualification certification, student competitions, and talent development.
