In her remarks, Li Jiangjing affirmed the Department of Electrical Engineering’s innovative exploration in ideological and political education for postdoctoral researchers. She pointed out that the Department Party Committee had reviewed and approved the “Implementation Measures for Strengthening Ideological and Political Work for Postdoctoral Researchers under the New Situation,” organically integrating ideological guidance with academic training and forming an effective working mechanism. She encouraged postdoctoral researchers to cherish this golden stage of their academic careers, strengthen their ideological foundations, and integrate their personal growth into the broader cause of national rejuvenation and national development.

Li Jiangjing Delivers Remarks
Under the theme “In-Depth Study of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Important Expositions on Comprehensively Deepening Reform,” Liu Peilin delivered a special report for the attending postdoctoral researchers. Drawing upon the General Secretary’s important statements on comprehensively deepening reform and relevant central government documents, he systematically elaborated on the historical context, core principles, and methodology of comprehensively deepening reform. Professor Liu particularly emphasized that comprehensively deepening reform has clear direction, position, and principles: it requires both “crossing the river by feeling the stones” and strengthened top-level design; it also requires both “making the cake bigger” and “sharing the cake more fairly.” In light of the disciplinary characteristics of the Department of Electrical Engineering, he further pointed out that the establishment of a unified national electricity market constitutes a key component of market-oriented reform in the allocation of production factors, and encouraged postdoctoral researchers to devote themselves to serving the nation’s major strategic needs.

In his concluding remarks, Zheng Zedong expressed gratitude to Liu Peilin for providing postdoctoral researchers with a systematic and comprehensive explanation of how to deeply study the General Secretary’s important expositions, helping participants gain a more accurate understanding of policy directions and improve their theoretical literacy. He emphasized that postdoctoral researchers should consciously integrate their scientific research and career development with the broader national development agenda and devote themselves to the new journey with vigor and determination. He also thanked the Postdoctoral Management Office of the Office of Human Resources and the Postdoctoral Association for their support of the Department’s work, and stated that the Department of Electrical Engineering would continue to deepen its ideological and political work mechanisms for postdoctoral researchers and further strengthen the “First Lecture for Ideological and Political Development” program as a signature initiative.
