On the morning of December 6, a delegation of five individuals from the College of Electrical and New Energy at Three Gorges University visited the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics (EEA) at Tsinghua University . The delegation included Gan Xingyuan, Party Secretary and Deputy Dean; Tang Bo, Executive Dean and Deputy Party Secretary; Cheng Jiangzhou, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice Dean; Zhu Hongjun, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice Dean; and Cheng Bin, Deputy Dean. They conducted a research discussion with faculty members from the EEA , including Yu Xinjie, Party Secretary of the department; Zhu Guiping, Deputy Dean of the department; and Zheng Zedong, Deputy Party Secretary.
Firstly, the delegation visited the EEA’s historical gallery to gain an in-depth understanding of the EEA’s development and changes since its establishment. Hu Wei, Assistant to the Head of the department, accompanied the delegation and provided explanations.
During the discussion, Yu Xinjie, Party Secretary of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics, extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation from the College of Electrical and New Energy at Three Gorges University. He expressed that the two departments share a deep friendship and strong collaboration, hoping to further strengthen communication and exchanges.
Gan Xingyuan, Party Secretary and Deputy Dean of the College of Electrical and New Energy at Three Gorges University, provided a comprehensive introduction to the basic situation of the college.
Zhu Guiping, Deputy Dean of EEA, presented an overview of the department's teaching activities. Sun Kai, Assistant to the dean of the department, introduced the department’s research work, while Zheng Zedong, Deputy Party Secretary, presented information about student affairs and career development. Zhang Jie from EEA’s Career Development Office reported on the career development of students and the work of EEA’s alumni association.
Following these presentations, leaders from the College of Electrical and New Energy at Three Gorges University shared their thoughts and engaged in discussions. Both parties reached preliminary intentions regarding research cooperation, talent development, and faculty exchanges.
