Introduction to iEnergy
iEnergy (International Journal of Power and Energy) is a fully open-access English-language academic journal hosted by Tsinghua University, published by Tsinghua University Press, with IEEE responsible for overseas dissemination and academic support provided by the Department of Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University. Professor He Jinliang serves as Editor-in-Chief. iEnergy was first published in March 2022, is a quarterly journal, and has published a total of 160 articles. Published papers have been cited by journals from 77 countries, totaling 338 journals. Cited journals include top journals such as Nature Energy, Nature Materials, Nature Climate Change, Joule, Energy Storage Materials, among others.
Currently, iEnergy is indexed by internationally recognized databases including ESCI, Ei Compendex, Scopus, DOAJ, CAS, and Inspec. In 2024, it received its first impact factor of 5.1 and CiteScore of 7.4 (Scopus), ranking in Q1 for Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Additionally, iEnergy was selected for the 2024 “Phase II High-Starting New Journal Subproject” of China’s Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan.
