According to the "Notice on Organizing and Implementing the Phase II Project of the China Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan" issued by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Finance, National Press and Publication Administration, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Chinese Academy of Engineering (Document No. 41, 2024), and the relevant provisions of the "Evaluation Plan and Guidelines for the China Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan Phase II," a total of 463 projects were selected after project applications, eligibility reviews, defense evaluations, and results verification.

iEnergy (Journal of Power and Energy in English) was selected as a high-starting point new journal project for the 2024 "China Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan."

iEnergy (Journal of Power and Energy, English edition) is an open-access international academic journal hosted by Tsinghua University, published by Tsinghua University Press, with overseas dissemination handled by IEEE, and academic support from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics (EEA) at Tsinghua University. Professor He Jinliang serves as the Editor-in-Chief. The journal was first published in March 2022 and is a quarterly publication. It has published 3 volumes and 11 issues, with a total of 124 papers. Published articles have received over 500 citations from 178 journals across 45 countries. Cited journals include top field-specific journals like Applied Energy and Advanced Energy Materials, as well as comprehensive journals like Angewandte Chemie, Energy, and Advanced Materials.
