On January 10, Professor Gareth Taylor, Director of the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering and the Brunel Interdisciplinary Power Systems (BIPS) Research Center at Brunel University London, was invited to visit the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics (EEA) at Tsinghua University. He delivered a lecture titled “Exploring the Development of the Common Information Model (CIM) to Support Future Large-scale Resource Integration into Power Systems”. Professor Kang Chongqing, Dean of EEA, presented Professor Gareth Taylor with the appointment certificate as an Outstanding Visiting Scholar at the Tsinghua University Energy Internet Innovation Research Institute. The lecture was attended by more than 20 faculty members and students, including Professor Cheng Lin, Associate Professor Hu Zechun, and Assistant Researcher Qi Ning.
