Kang Chongqing and his entourage visited the Chaotianmen Wharf Power Project and Chongqing Energy Big Data Center, etc. of Chongqing Electric Power Company, and learned in detail about a series of achievements of Chongqing Electric Power Company in the protection of the Yangtze River, power and energy big data around regional characteristics.

In the discussion and exchange session, Hu Jiangyi and Kang Chongqing delivered speeches respectively and reviewed the history and foundation of cooperation between the two sides. Subsequently, personnel from both parties carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions on the cooperation with Chongqing Electric Power Company in power grid planning and operation, strategic research, think tank construction, talent training and recruitment, etc.

Hu Jiangyi pointed out that EEA has a long-term cooperation with Chongqing Electric Power Company, and EEA has made important contributions to the development of Chongqing Electric Power. In the face of the current new energy situation and in combination with the special problems in by Chongqing, such as the shortage of power, colleges and universities can play an important role, and the two sides can further expand cooperation. The suggestions and ideas put forward by Tsinghua University during this visit can satisfy the demand for development of the Company. He hoped that Chongqing Electric Power Company can establish regular communication channels and normalized cooperation mechanisms with Tsinghua University.

Kang Chongqing pointed out that there is still great potential for cooperation between EEA and Chongqing Electric Power Company. Taking advantages of the 90th anniversary, EEA is also constantly summarizing and adjusting the combination of scientific research work and industry, and constantly strengthening and improving the scientific research layout according to the latest development needs. With the help of platforms such as the National Energy Internet Industry and Technology Innovation Alliance and Tsinghua Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute, the cooperation between the two sides can promote the actualization of a series of research results of EEA in Chongqing and Southwest China. Yu Zhanqing, Deputy Dean of EEA and Liu Xinyu, Deputy General Manager of Chongqing Electric Power Company, signed a strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of the two sides. According to the strategic cooperation agreement, the two sides will jointly carry out research on latest subject research and think tank work, jointly promote the construction of new type power systems, and expand cooperation in scientific and technological projects.
