On March 30, the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics of Tsinghua University and the Institute of Electromechanical Engineering of China Communications Construction Co., Ltd. signed a letter of intent for cooperation in Beijing China Communications Construction Corporation Group Building, and the two parties will develop long-term cooperation in smart cities, smart buildings, energy systems, electrified transport, smart transport, new infrastructure technology application, enterprise digitalization, energy Internet, new DC and flexible power supply systems, new sensors, offshore wind power and other fields. Zeng Rong, Deputy Provost of Tsinghua University and Director of the State Key Laboratory of Power Systems, Yu Xinjie, Party Secretary of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics of Tsinghua University, Chen Zhongqiu, Party Secretary and General Manager of the Institute of Electromechanical Engineering of China Communications Construction Co., Ltd., and Pan Lingxia, Chief Accountant of the Institute of Electromechanical Engineering of China Communications Construction Co., Ltd., attended the signing ceremony.

Chen Zhongqiu extended a warm welcome to Zeng Rong and his entourage, and introduced the historical evolution and main business sectors of the Institute of Electromechanical Engineering of China Communications Construction Co., Ltd. He said that the Institute of Electromechanical Engineering serves the development goal "Two Guarantees and One Struggle" of China Communications Construction Co., Ltd. and thoroughly implements the business strategy of "Three Majors, Two Keys and Two Priors". The two parties have deepened the cooperation in comprehensive urban development, smart low carbon energy systems, urban rail transit power supply and energy-saving technologies, major scientific research project establishment and researches since they started exchanges from the beginning of this year.
