Recently, the paper "Past and future on nanodielectrics,Volume 1, Issue 1, April 2018, pp. 41-47" published in IET Nanodielectrics in 2018 by Dr. Zhong Shaolong (Supervisor Professor Dang Zhimin) of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics was granted the Premium Award for Best Paper by the Institution of Engineering and Technology. The award is annually granted annually by IET to highly influencing papers published in the series IET journals in the past two years (2018.1-2019.12), and only one paper is nominated for each journal. Polymer nanocomposite dielectrics have attracted wide attention because of their excellent properties. This paper analyzes the structure-activity relationship between structural properties and dielectric properties of polymer nanocomposites from the perspectives of time domain, space and interface, and systematically summarizes and explores the future application and orientation of polymer composite dielectrics.

Application of polymer nanocomposite dielectrics

IET Nanodielectrics released its first issue in April 2018, and the journal mainly covers but is not limited to: basic properties of advanced dielectric materials, analysis of dielectric properties, application of advanced dielectric materials and so on. At present, the journal has been included in major databases such as Scopus, Ei Compendex, DOAJ and IET Inspec.

It is known that IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology) was founded by the combination of IEE (British Institute of Electrical Engineers) and IIE (Institute of Industrial Engineers) at the beginning of 2006, and it now has more than 150,000 members in 128 countries around the world. The IET Premium Award for Best Paper mainly recognizes the outstanding papers published by scientists, including students and young scholars, in the official publication of IET.
