On behalf of the Tsinghua University, You Zheng extended a warm welcome to the visit of China Railway. With regard to the signing of the contract, You Zheng said that Tsinghua University adheres to the strategic positioning of "serving the major needs of the country, aiming at the forefront of international science and technology, and focusing on hot issues in the industry", and builds a new discipline development strategy of "One Axis and Two Wings". Over the years, we have always adhered to the concept of aiming at the international frontier basic research and facing the major needs of national economic construction, carried out scientific research work of "Indomitable Spirit", and made efforts to break through the key problems restricting the development of the industry. Mr. Kong Dun said in his speech that the in-depth cooperation and exchange between the two sides not only usher in a new era of R&D and manufacturing of a new generation of traction power supply system of electrified railway with independent intellectual property rights in China, but also will make positive contributions to the international leading level of traction power supply system technology of electrified railway in China. He also sincerely hoped that this major project can be successfully completed and that the cooperation between the two sides can go further.

Mr. Fang Hongwei, head of the Office of Scientific R&D, Tsinghua University, presided over the meeting and made an address on behalf of the Office. Mr. Fang welcomed the arrival of the delegation of China Railway Electrification Engineering Group and expressed sincere expectation for the development of this major project and the follow-up all-round cooperation between the two sides. After the signing ceremony, the guests also went to the West Main Building of Department of Electrical Engineering of Tsinghua University, investigated the "new generation of SPC miniature experimental device for traction power supply", and listened to Wei Yingdong, the project leader and the director of Flexible Power Supply Research Center for Rail Transit of the Research Institute for Energy Internet Innovation, about the overall situation and plan of major projects. Then the two sides had a heated discussion.
