Recently, the annual meeting of the IEEE EMC Society was held in Singapore. At the meeting, the IEEMC Technical Achievement Award was presented to Prof. Zeng Rong of Department of Electrical Engineering in recognition of his outstanding contribution in electromagnetic transient measurement and lightning protection of power systems.
The IEEE Electromagnetic Society is a globally renowned organization in the fields of electromagnetic environmental effects and electromagnetic compatibility engineering, technology and innovation. The Society leads scientific and technological innovation, information dissemination and engineering services in this field. It has 70 branches in the world. The Society has selected scholars who have made outstanding technical contributions in the field of EMC and awarded the Technical Achievement Award worldwide through nomination, recommendation and expert voting.
