Dr. Yuanxiang Zhou, born in December 1966, is a tenured professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Tsinghua University. He serves as Deputy Director of the Tsinghua Cross-Strait Research Institute and Director of the Wind-Solar-Storage Integration Division of the State Key Laboratory of Control and Simulation of Power Systems and Generation Equipment. He is also a doctoral supervisor, an IEEE Fellow, and a Tianci Distinguished Professor.Dr. Zhou holds multiple prominent academic and professional positions, including:Chair of the Insulation Subcommittee, IEEE PES China Council; Member of the Chinese National Committee of CIGRE SC D1; Vice Chair of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Insulating Materials; Board Member of the China Electrotechnical Society; Vice Chair of the Special Committee on Testing Technology and Instruments, Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering; Editorial Board Member of High Voltage Engineering, Insulating Materials, and Electrical Technology.His research focuses on the insulation theory, materials, structure, testing, and diagnostics of electrical equipment, as well as high-voltage power transmission technology. He has published over 400 academic papers, holds more than 30 granted national invention patents, and has received numerous prestigious awards, including: Special Prize and Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award; First Prize of the Beijing Teaching Achievement Award; Eleven provincial and ministerial-level awards; Recognized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee as one of the "Most Beautiful Figures Supporting Border Regions"; 2022 Distinguished Member of CIGRE
