闵勇,1963年7月出生,清华大学电机工程与应用电子技术系教授,博士生导师,IET Fellow,中国电机工程学会高级会员。
1984年清华大学电机系本科毕业,1990年在清华大学电机系获博士学位后留校工作,1993年被聘为清华大学电机系副教授,1999年被聘为教授。曾任清华大学电机系柔性输配电系统研究所所长、电力系统研究所所长、清华大学电气工程学位评定分委员会主任、清华大学电机系主任、清华大学电机系学术委员会主任、电力系统及发电设备安全控制和仿真国家重点实验室副主任、国家科技部“十二五”智能电网重点专项专家组组长等职务。现任清华大学新型电力系统运行与控制全国重点实验室主任。
主要从事电力系统动态分析、新能源消纳和电热综合能源系统等方面的研究工作。在国内外期刊和会议上共发表学术论文300多篇。曾获国家技术发明二等奖和科技进步二等奖各1项,省部级科技奖励6项。
