19905月保送进入上海交通大学理科实验班学习。199010月由国家教委公派至前苏联列宁格勒加里宁工学院(后更名为圣彼得堡国立技术大学)工业自动化系学习,分别于1995年、1997年和2000年获电气传动自动化专业学士、硕士、博士学位。2001年回国进入清华大学电气工程博士后流动站工作,2003年出站留清华大学电机系工作至今,历任助理研究员、副教授、教授。主要从事电机控制与机器人驱动、波浪发电系统、储能与微电网等方向的研究工作。近年来主持国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金重点项目等相关科研项目20余项,发表SCI/EI论文200余篇,申请和授权国内、外发明专利80余项多次入选斯坦福大学和Elsevier发布的全球前2%顶尖科学家榜单;曾获教育部新世纪优秀人才、“中达学者”、“正泰电工行业科技成就奖”等荣誉和支持;获省部级与行业科技奖励10余项国际技术发明奖3北京市高校教学基本功比赛北京市教学成果奖各1
