1991年东南大学自控系本科毕业;2001年清华大学博士毕业,留校任教。2005年清华大学电机系副教授,2010年清华大学电机系教授、博导。主要从事无损检测、电磁测量、智能传感器、信号处理等领域的教学和研究工作,长期在跨学科层次上从事关键基础科学问题的研究。理论研究与实际应用并重,所研发的油气管道缺陷在线内检测器应用在中石油、中石化和中海油,以及国外众多检测工程中,累计检测油气管道10多万公里,国内检测工程市场占有率达到50%以上,并使国产油气管道检测设备首次走出国门。开发的接地极腐蚀非开挖检测技术、地下设施探测技术、电力电子器件疲劳损伤检测技术、电缆绝缘损伤检测技术和混凝土活动裂纹监测技术在国网、南网和三峡公司示范应用。打破国外技术垄断,首次实现了海底油气管道缺陷在线内检测。主持1项国家重大科学仪器设备开发专项项目和5项国家自然科学基金,主持863重大项目、铁道部重点项目、国家科技支撑计划课题和国际合作项目多项。获得省部级和行业科技奖励10余次。以第一作者出版专著10本、教材2本。发表论文400多篇,被SCI检索100余篇,EI收录90多篇。获发明专利100余项。
