First IEEE PCCC Student Research Showcase Best Oral Presentation Award
Postdoctoral researcher Qi Ning attended the conference and received the Best Paper Award
Faculty and students from EEA achieved remarkable outcomes at the meeting. Kang Chongqing received the IEEE PES Peter W. Sauer Award for Outstanding Power Engineering Education for his contributions to teaching and student development in the field of low-carbon power systems, becoming the first Chinese recipient of this award since its establishment 35 years ago in 1989. Guo Qinglai and Xie Xiaorong were recognized as IEEE Fellows. Zeng Hongtai and Wang Qi won the first IEEE PCCC Student Research Showcase Best Oral Presentation Award. The paper co-authored by postdoctoral researcher Qi Ning, Professor Cheng Lin, and Associate Professor Liu Feng, titled “Reliability-Aware Probabilistic Reserve Procurement under Decision-Dependent Uncertainty,” received the Best Paper Award.
