The competition scheme of Cheng Xiang, Yu Zhipeng and Wu Sirui’s team from SGOOL laboratory is “low-carbon chemical technology route based on green power — taking the synthetic ammonia industry in West Inner Mongolia as an example”. Taking West Inner Mongolia, where there is rich wind and solar resources and large-scale chemical production capacity, as an example, the scheme proposes a low-carbon chemical ammonia synthesis technology route in West Inner Mongolia based on green power. The production cost of green ammonia can be greatly reduced by combining wind power generation with large-scale electric hydrogen generation units, and flexibly participating in the power market operation.
