Recently, Professor Kang Chongqing from the Department of Electrical Engineeringand Applied Electronicsof Tsinghua University was awarded the 2021 Achievement Medal (IET, The Institution of Engineering and Technology) in recognition of his outstanding achievements in the field of energy and power. IET selects 4 to 5 people in different fields of engineering and technology to awardthemachievement medals every year. Professor Kang Chongqing is the firstwinnerof the awardworking in the Chinese mainland since the award was established in 1987.
