On the afternoon of April 26, 6 people, including Zhu Xiaocheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Zhu Jianjun, Deputy General Manager of State Grid National Bio-Energy Group, and Kuang Xianjin, Deputy General Manager of State Grid Ji’an Power Supply Company, visited the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics to exchange their ideas college-enterprise cooperation, transformation of scientific and technological achievements and joint development of products. Dean Kang Chongqing, professors Zhao Wei and Huang Songling of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics attended the symposium. The symposium was chaired by Yi Chenyi, associate professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics.

He first congratulated Tsinghua University on its 110th anniversary and introduced the business field and development direction of State Grid National Bio-Energy Power Group. He said that State Grid Bio-Energy Power Group is now based on the strategic layout "One body and Four wings" of the State Grid to deeply explore in the development of the integrated energy industry, and the "integrated" construction of comprehensive energy in the county level. This visit to the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics aims to deepen cooperation and take the company’s county-level integrated energy demonstration projects under construction as an opportunity to combine advanced distributed photovoltaic power generation technology with modern agriculture, and contribute to the national development strategies of "dual carbon" and "rural revitalization".

Then, Yi Chenyi introduced the "Application of Perovskite Solar Cells in Greenhouse Agriculture". He detailed technical advantages of perovskite solar cells and their important functions in greenhouse agriculture, and displayed the laboratory's current research results in this field.

Having listened to the introduction of relevant research results, the two parties conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions. They believed that the combination of perovskite photovoltaic power generation technology and greenhouse agriculture development is an important way for realizing the national strategy of "carbon peak, carbon neutral" and "rural revitalization", and it is promising in application and marketization. The two parties will work together to accelerate the cooperation with specific technical details, and strive to complete demonstration industry projects as soon as possible.
