On March 27, a nine-member sci-tech delegation including Fu Dawei, the member of the Standing Committee and vice mayor of the Neijiang Municipal Committee, Guo Ying, vice-minister of the Organizational Department of the Neijiang Municipal Committee, Su Xiaobei, director of the Science and Technology Bureau of Neijiang City, and Wan Wei, director of the Neijiang Economic Development District Management Committee, visited the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronic Technology (EEA), Tsinghua University (THU). Yu Xinjie, secretary of the Party Committee of the EEA, Yu Zhanqing, director of the Party Office of the EEA, Guo Jingbo, professor of the EEA, Hu Tiehua, chief engineer of the Oil and Gas Pipeline Inspection Center of the Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute THU, and Zhu Zhongyan and Chen Lingxia of the Science and Technology Development Department of the Scientific Research Institute, attended the reception, discussion and exchanges. On behalf of the EEA, Secretary Yu Xinjie welcomed the leaders of Neijiang City for visit and in-depth cooperation. He also introduced the EEA’s development history and overall advantages, especially outstanding personnel training and outstanding achievements in major scientific research fields. Vice Mayor Fu Dawei introduced Neijiang's geographical conditions, humanities, scientific and technological innovation, and layout and latest development of strategic emerging industries. Neijiang municipal government will support the EEA’s high-level scientific research achievements to be applied in the whole chain of research and production in Neijiang, and promote the deep and long-term strategic cooperation between the two sides on this basis. Director Su Xiaobei and Vice Minister Guo Ying also had in-depth exchanges with the participants on the specific issues of sci-tech cooperation between Neijiang and the EEA, as well as the policy of high-end talents in Neijiang.
