报告人简介:安詹·博斯,美国工程院院士,中国工程院外籍院士,IEEE Fellow,同时是若干个NAE/NRC的委员会成员,曾被任命为美国政府科学技术指导委员会的副主席。曾获得电气工程杰出教育奖(1994)、IEEE千年奖章(2000)和the Herman Halperin输电与配电奖(2006)。博斯是美国自然基金委的电力工程研究中心主任;也是华盛顿州立大学董事讲座教授,曾任职工程与建筑学院院长、电气工程与计算机科学学院院长,是多个IEEE 和McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia的科学与技术刊物的编委,曾经担任多个国际技术委员会和国际会议的主席。
Bio: Professor Anjan Bose, a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering, a foreign member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and an IEEE Fellow, has served on several committees of the National Academy of Engineering and the National Research Council. He was appointed as the Vice Chair of the U.S. Government’s Committee on Science and Technology Guidance. Professor Bose has received accolades such as the Outstanding Educator Award in Electrical Engineering (1994), the IEEE Millennium Medal (2000), and the Herman Halperin Electric Transmission and Distribution Award (2006). He is the director of the Power Engineering Research Center at the National Science Foundation and holds the Regents’ Professorship at Washington State University. Professor Bose has held leadership roles as the dean of the College of Engineering and Architecture and the dean of the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Washington State University. He has been an editorial board member for several IEEE and McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia publications in science and technology and has chaired numerous international technical committees and conferences.
